After three days off non-stop action, the senior finalists in the 2020 Boxing New Zealand National Championships being hosted by the Wellington/Hutt Valley Boxing Association, will square off in thirteen title deciders on Saturday evening.

Four-time New Zealand Middleweight Champion Ryan Scaife will meet Emile Richardson, in a replay of the 2019 National title decider, where the Wellington Hutt Valley boxer took out a unanimous decision.

2019 Jameson Belt (Most scientific senior boxer) winner Jerome Pampellone, enters the ring for the first time at the Nationals, where he will square off with Jeshaiah Perelina from Canterbury. The South Island boxer won a barn-burner against fellow Canterbury boxer Sakhidad Ghazizada, earning a 3-2 decision to advance to the title fight.

Marion Faustino Ah Tong, impressed many at ringside when he eliminated 2019 Welterweight runner-up Wendell Stanley, in Fridays semi-final action. Ah Tong will take on Tawhirimatea Toheriri-Hallet with the winner receiving the prestigious Ted Morgan Cup awarded to the winner of the welterweight division.

Commonwealth Games bronze medalist Troy Garton, who has moved up a weight class after winning the 2019 57kg title, will meet Baylee Macdonald to decide the 60kg championship.

Defending 64 kilo champion Cara Wharerau puts her title on the line against 2019 60kg titleholder Michelle Nuku, while current 69kg champion Ariane Nicholson will square off with Jessica David
